Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh berries (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer the first crescent dough by unrolling one can and pressing the seams together to form a crust in the baking dish.
  3. Make the filling by beating the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the first layer of crescent dough.
  5. Add the top layer by unrolling the second can of crescent dough and placing it over the filling, pressing the seams together.
  6. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and additional sugar if using.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh berries if desired.
