Ingredients
1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
4 strips bacon, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
Instructions
- Rinse and trim the green beans. Pat them dry.
- In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet with bacon grease, add green beans. Sauté for 6–8 minutes until tender-crisp.
