Ingredients
8 oz (225g) cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup green olives (pitted and finely chopped)
1/4 cup black olives (pitted and finely chopped)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Black pepper, to taste
Optional Additions:
1 tablespoon fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Finely chop the green and black olives. If using fresh herbs, chop them as well.
- Soften the Cream Cheese: Allow the cream cheese to sit at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes for easier mixing.
- Mix Everything Together: In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, olives, olive oil, lemon juice, dried oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Adjust the Flavor: Taste and add more seasoning if needed. Optional ingredients like feta or red pepper flakes can be added at this stage.
