Description

A rich, creamy, and cheesy slow-cooked chicken dish with ranch seasoning, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar. Perfect for sandwiches, pasta, or as a dip, this dish is easy to make and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

1/4 cup chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and pour in the chicken broth.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Spread evenly over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  4. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks and mix it with the creamy sauce.
  5. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, stirring well. Cover and cook for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley. Serve on buns, over rice, pasta, or as a dip.
