Ingredients

For the Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp butter (for searing)

For the Sauce and Pasta:

12 oz rotini or fusilli pasta

2 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp flour

1 3/4 cups whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  3. Meanwhile, cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute, then stir in flour to form a roux.
  5. Slowly whisk in milk and cream. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth.
  7. Add pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat well.
  8. Slice chicken and place over the pasta. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
