Ingredients
For the steak:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (1 to 1.5 inches thick)
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
For the Alfredo tortellini:
9 oz cheese tortellini
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Salt and pepper, to taste
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Let steaks sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Pat dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add butter and garlic. Baste steaks with garlic butter for 1-2 minutes. Remove and rest.
- Cook tortellini per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
