Ingredients

1 cup cold water

3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin (about 4 packets)

1 ½ cups granulated sugar (plus extra for coating)

1 packet Kool-Aid (any flavor you like)

Optional: 1–2 drops food coloring

Nonstick spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Pour cold water into a saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the surface. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. Turn the heat to medium-low. Add granulated sugar and Kool-Aid powder. Stir constantly until fully dissolved. Do not boil.
  3. Add food coloring if using, and stir to combine.
  4. Lightly grease silicone molds or a shallow pan. Pour the mixture into the molds or pan. Let cool for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  6. Remove gummies from molds or cut into cubes if using a pan.
  7. Toss each piece in granulated sugar to coat.
  8. Store in an airtight container and enjoy!
