1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade)
½ cup water
1 (10 oz) can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chiles)
1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
½ cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 bag (about 10 oz) tortilla chips
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup sliced green onions
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Jalapeño slices (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in Rotel, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream.
- In a 9×13 baking dish, layer half the tortilla chips.
