Ingredients

1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)

6 large eggs

2 cups milk (whole or 2%)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

4 cups bread cubes (day-old bread works best)

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella (optional)

2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Drain and set aside.
