Ingredients
4 large sweet onions (Vidalia or Walla Walla)
1–2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice onions into thick rings and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle butter mixture over onions.
- Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan evenly across the onions.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
