Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk 110°F
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Filling

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened

Cream Cheese Glaze

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp milk as needed for consistency

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let sit until foamy, 5-10 minutes.
  • Add softened butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth. Let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for filling. Set aside softened butter.
  • Roll dough into a 16x12-inch rectangle. Spread butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.
  • Roll into a log and cut into 12 rolls. Place in greased 9x13 pan. Let rise 30 more minutes.
  • Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Beat glaze ingredients until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.
