  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.25 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Add olive oil and red wine vinegar to a mason jar or bowl.
  • Stir in Dijon mustard, garlic, oregano, basil, sugar, salt, and Parmesan.
  • Add black pepper and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Shake or whisk until well emulsified.
  • Chill for 30 minutes before using.
  • Toss with pasta salad and enjoy!

Notes

This dressing works beautifully as a marinade too. Store in the fridge and shake before each use.
