  • 450 g chicken thighs or breasts
  • 115 g butter
  • 1 1/2 cups long-grain white rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or chives, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Prep the chicken by patting it dry and cutting into chunks.
  • Melt butter and sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side.
  • Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in rice and chicken broth, season with spices.
  • Simmer 20–25 minutes until rice absorbs broth.
  • Fluff rice and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Add extra spices like cayenne for heat or toss in peas for a veggie boost.
